Second Hungarian Stakeholder Event for the DETOCS project
The second Hungarian stakeholder meeting of the Interreg Europe DETOCS project, hosted by Central Danube Development Agency Nonprofit Ltd (CDDA), took place at the Jankovich Hotel – recently rewarded with the “Green Hotel” label – on 13 February 2024.
The topic of the meeting was “Sustainability (Green) Efforts in the Municipal and Corporate Sectors". Fittingly, participants of the event received engaging presentations on the following topics:
- Municipality of Óbuda-Békásmegyer- Building blocks for a sustainable district: Óbuda-Békásmegyer Sustainability strategy, implementation, results;
- BDO Hungary ESG Advisory Ltd.- Sustainability - What should businesses in the tourism sector in Hungary know and why?;
- UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt. - Sustainability through the lens of a commercial bank.
The presentations were followed by the introductions of good practices in green tourism and a site visit at the "green hotel"-awarded hotel.
