DETOCS Stakeholder Meeting: Policy Improvements in Slovenia
On March 7, 2025, the Local Energy Agency Spodnje Podravje (LEASP) hosted the regular DETOCS stakeholder meeting, bringing together 25 participants to discuss how successful practices from other regions can be integrated into local legislation. The event served as a key platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning in the energy and sustainability sector.
Stakeholders explored how proven solutions from other European regions could be adapted to the Spodnje Podravje context. Discussions focused on identifying transferable practices, addressing policy implementation challenges, and adjusting regulatory frameworks to facilitate adoption. A roadmap was established, outlining steps such as ongoing stakeholder engagement, drafting legislative proposals, and setting up monitoring frameworks to assess policy impact.
