Craiova on Bikes! What a ride!

The initiative brought together passionate cyclists and the local community to promote the bicycle as a sustainable, healthy, and fun alternative to car transport.

From e-cycling to cargo bikes, the event showcased how cycling can directly support 11 out of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — proving once again that small wheels can drive big change! 

DEPART Interreg Europe Project, in partnership with the Regional Development Agency South-West Oltenia (SWO-RDA), proudly supports such initiatives that blend sustainable sports tourism with urban mobility and local development. Events like this highlight the power of sport and active transport in creating greener, more liveable cities.
