The Daphne workgroup talking about best practices and data collection and sharing

As best practice we mean the most significant experiences, procedures or actions, or in any case those which have allowed the best results to be obtained, in relation to various contexts and proposed objectives. The Daphne working group held on March 20th in Brussels meeting with the aim of sharing data collection methodology and best practices to reduce the sector’s carbon footprint. During the meeting, participants presented innovative energy efficiency models, emission monitoring strategies and solutions for resource optimisation. Special attention was paid to the importance of data collection and analysis to monitor progress and guide future sustainability actions. The meeting strengthened collaboration between public, private and academic entities, laying the foundations for the development of an integrated information exchange system and continuous improvement of environmental practices in the healthcare sector. Partners agreed to continue with regular meetings to monitor results and broaden the involvement of other healthcare facilities in the transition towards climate neutrality.
