2nd Stakeholder meeting in Poland

On March 17, 2025 the Association of Municipalities Polish Network “Energie Cités” hosted the 2nd Zoom Daphne Stakeholder meeting. During the meeting, participants were reminded of the DAPHNE project aim, scope, methodology and its objectives. The activities carried out so far were also presented, including partner meetings, study visits, project communication, data collection and identification of good practices in the decarbonisation of the healthcare system in Poland.
Following the introduction, participants were given an overview of international experiences in energy efficiency, especially the Compostaggia Hospital in Italy and Medicon Village in Sweden visited during study tours. In addition to international examples, good practices from Poland were also showcased, such as Wolica Hospital in Kalisz and the Provincial Hospital in Opole. Finally, the challenges, needs and plans of the ProMedica Hospital in Elk in the context of the decarbonisation of the healthcare system were discussed, with regard to SECAP development. Stakeholders expressed their willingness to integrate the actions planned in the healthcare sector with planned improvements of this policy instrument.
