After lunch in Irun, the focus shifted to cross-border interoperability, a critical component of the project. The visit to Hendaye station offered firsthand insights into the challenges and successes of operating a station that connects two countries. This day of exploration and learning through the Basque Country and its cross-border region concluded with a return to Bilbao.

The second day focused on knowledge sharing and strategic planning. Participants took part in a methodology seminar and a peer review session, fostering the exchange of experiences and solutions across regions. This was followed by a thematic workshop addressing key project topics and the development of a robust communication plan. The day ended with a steering group meeting, ensuring alignment among partners and setting the foundation for future actions.

This field visit combined in-depth learning with practical insights, offering participants a unique opportunity to observe innovative cross-border mobility solutions in action and contribute to the collaborative goals of the project.
