Public procurement represents approximately 14% of the European Union’s GDP, making it one of the most powerful tools available to support the shift towards a more sustainable, circular economy. However, to scale successful pilot initiatives, policy alone is not enough: achieving real impact requires a fundamental shift in mindset.

The Circular Minds project, supported by Interreg Europe, explores how adopting circular procurement principles—such as buying less, buying better, and extending product lifecycles—can deliver substantial long-term benefits. These include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing waste, lowering costs, and enhancing resource security.

Explore this new animated video to learn why this transition matters and how it can support compliance with EU regulations while fostering innovation and leadership in the marketplace.
