Interreg Europe defines capitalisation as the process of collecting, analysing, exchanging experience, and transferring/adapting good practices gained in a specific field of regional development policy. The aim is to increase the professional capacities of the people and organisations involved in this process, so they are able to improve their regional development policies.

In the context of Interreg Europe, a good practice is defined as an initiative related to regional development policy which has proved to be successful in a region and which is of potential interest to other regions. ‘Proved successful’ is when the good practice has already provided tangible and measurable results in achieving a specific objective.

For SPOTLOG several Good Practices are already available on:

  • IziPizi - parcel machines for flexible food delivery in Latvia
  • Multi-stakeholder collaboration within logistics innovation ecosystem facilitates carbon-neutrality
  • Last-mile delivery to Automated Parcel Machines
  • Partnership between the municipality of Lille and La Poste about sustainable last mile delivery
