We are very pleased to announce that the RAW4RES project was prominently featured at the recent Interreg Europe Let's Cooperate event in Antwerp, held on March 21st, 2024, during a session dedicated to Green Economy & SME Competitiveness.

PROMEA, serving as the advisory partner of the RAW4RES project, delivered an insightful presentation highlighting the challenges addressed by RAW4RES and outlining the strategies devised by the partnership to tackle these challenges through policy enhancements and/or modifications.

The whole session was divided into two parts, with the first part orchestrated by Luc Schmerber, thematic expert for the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform in the field of SME competitiveness. He set the stage for a discussion on the green economy within the European policy context, providing an overview of the multifaceted aspects covered by Interreg Europe projects under the specific objective SME competitiveness and the thematic objective SMART.

The second part featured presentations from two projects: RAW4RES and DeCo. Each presenter provided a concise overview of their project, delving into the challenges addressed and potential policy solutions envisaged. The aim was to identify the key policy challenges for the transition towards a sustainable economy, as identified by members of the Interreg Europe community.

A brief Q&A session between speakers and the audience followed, enriching the overall discussion.

We extend our gratitude to all participants for their valuable contributions, which have enhanced the dialogue surrounding green economy initiatives and SME competitiveness.
