On Wednesday 31st of July, Silesia Park organised its third regional stakeholders meeting.

The meeting was attended by member of the board of the Śląskie Voivodeship (the regional government), representatives the municipalities of: Katowice, Jaworzno, Myslowice, Radzionków and Ruda Slaska. Urban stakeholders were joined by three academics (environment, ecology and landscape planning experts), Silesian Botanical Garden in Mikolow and the head of the regional land development planning department at the Marshall Office of Silesia Voivodeship. The Silesia Park landscape architect was also present. 

The agenda included the introduction of UL2L idea and the benefits the stakeholders could expect supplying good practices and reporting their problems and achievements on landscape planning and/or postindustrial land rehabilitation. Our purpose was also to find out which municipalities, insitutions would be ready/willing to cooperate in the creation of the common Action Plan. Swedish and Italian good practices and impressions from the workshops at Kristianstad and Umbria were also presented.
