Last 1 to 3 October the Baltic Institute of Finland had the pleasure of hosting international guests in the framework of TraCS3. The partners focus on improving regional innovation infrastructures and innovation capacities, which are the backbone of any dynamic regional innovation ecosystems.

Partners from Belgium, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania and Spain spent three days in Tampere getting to know the city and the region. Representatives of the region provided the international guests with an overview of the region in general and with an insight into the smart city and health & well-being activities in Tampere region. In addition to exchange of experience with regional representatives, the early stage development of Regional Action Plans was continued in Tampere. Finnish nature in autumn colours indulged the TraCS3 partnership with some relaxation amidst the intense working programme.

The next partner meeting will be in Romania next spring.
