Industry 4.0 technologies & Industrial Property Rights

Networking zone 16:00-16:30 networking talks
Smart

According to recent data, Greece shows a low performance in patenting and Industrial Property registration. At the same time, Slovenia was ranked 15th among EU Member States in the latest European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) in 2021, remaining in the group of moderate innovators. The EU Member States have committed to increasing funding for research and development (R&D) activities by 2020, in order to meet the 3% of GDP target for R&D.
The idea is to enhance the current innovation system of these areas, by:
- Exploring and identifying existing problems in patenting and technology transfer at a regional, national and European level
- Creating a network from all over Europe, with actors that are successful in terms of patenting and technology transfer and actors that are in need of guidance to improve their performance etc.
Pilot activities & good practices will be used to create a project focusing on these needs.
