One of the biggest challenges at the national and international level is to ensure an environmentally friendly energy supply that supports local areas.
According to information from national action plans, by 2020, the greatest contribution to the goals should be achieved through the restructuring of the CO2-neutral thermal energy supply. Therefore, the promotion of biomass heating (separate, micro and district heating systems) is expressed in all energy strategies. The realization of such heating systems includes the assumption that fuel will be available throughout the year in an appropriate quantity and that it is of adequate quality. With the aim of creating a more transparent market and easier planning of production in forestry, it is considered necessary to establish service stations for fuel from wood biomass.
