The mid-term conference of the project RUMORE will take place on 13th November 2018 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The event on the topic “Urban-rural partnerships supporting the shift to a circular economy” will provide a floor for discussions and exchange between project partners, invited stakeholders and guests. The main objective is to share experiences and deepen understanding about the topics of rural-urban cooperation, integrated territorial development and innovations for circular economy.
The programme of the event includes key note speeches, expert presentations and on-sight study visits to selected circular economy initiatives in the City of Amsterdam. The conference will be followed by a series of internal project work sessions on 14th November.
The mid-term event is an important milestone in the project. It will provide all partner regions with the possibility to reflect on the hitherto Action Plan development process and to look ahead at improving their policy instruments.
