Almost one and a half billion euros (1,412 billion euros) invested in CSR shares by Italian companies: 25% more than the figure for 2015 (1,122 billion euros). The companies that have chosen to bet on CSR are 85%, a slight but steady increase in recent years (in 2015 they were 80%), and doubled compared to only sixteen years ago, when the survey began. Attention to the territory and to local communities and to actions to reduce the environmental impact, but also great and growing attention to employee involvement and support of corporate culture. The VIII Report on the social commitment of companies in Italy was presented in Rome at the Ministry of Economic Development. The initiative is carried out by the Osservatorio Socialis of Errepi Comunicazione, in collaboration with the Ixè institute, on a representative sample of 400 Italian companies with more than 80 employees.
