Thematic Event No. 3 - Financial Instruments

Thee ability to finance carbon reduction measures and the shift towards a low carbon economy is of paramount importance if Europe and the world are to achieve the targets set down by the Paris Accord. Achieving an 80% reduction in GHG emission from the existing building stock does not come cheaply. In an era of low interest rates, low inflation and cheap fuel the challenge is even greater. At this thematic event the project partners with assistance from specially selected financial advisors will examine how this can be done.
