National Conference on Industrial Symbiosis

Industrial Symbiosis good practice examples was discussed and shared with 39 experts from all over Sweden, including stakeholders.  
Some interesting site visits were included in the program, including an example of a test bed for algae was shown. The algaes were fed by waste water from a nearby fish farm, which in turn produced silicon with exceptional characteristics. This resulted in the planning of a biogas plant feeder, cultivated from waste from the fish industry, which will be built in the next couple of years.
