How important are Equity-type Instruments?

The second Exchange of Experience of Innova-FI will be held in Lisbon, Portugal from 12 to 15 February 2019. The meeting organised by the Portuguese National Agency for Innovation (ANI) will focus on 'Equity-type Instruments’.  
During the workshop, ANI together with relevant Portuguese stakeholders (from the LSG meetings) will present the state-of-play of FIs put in place in Portugal, targeting highly-innovative enterprises. Weaknesses identified — e.g. finding right combinations between FIs and other support measures — will be analysed together with partners. The thematic workshop will focus on putting in place and working with equity-type instruments, focusing on venture capital and/or business angels, for very early stages.
