5th meeting in regional advisory group of Agder

At the meeting 6 representatives from stakeholders Lindesnes municipality, Farsund municipality, Tvedestrand municipality, Arendal municipality and Aust-Agder county Council met with 3 staff from Vest-Agder County Council to discuss progress made in Agder with regards to the development of the regional action plan.
Main key topics discussed at the meeting was:
1. Feasibility study of the historical outports. Results from the study was presented and discussed. The municipalities of Tvedestand and Lindesnes had already made use of some of the results in their own work.
2. Knowledge base amongst professionals in the municipalities. The need for improved knowledge about heritage issues amongst professionals in the municipalities was discussed.-
3. Dissemination of project results at the Sørlandsrådet 31 January 2018 (the regional policitial coordination body for the revision of the Regional Development Plan). Staff informed about planned presentation.
4. Hericoast
The group was informed about the financial development in the project and the upcoming project activities. It was decided to involve Lindesnes municipality, Arendal municipality and Lindesnes Lighthouse museum in the upcoming interregional workshop in Donegal, Ireland. Furthermore the outline of the regional action plan was discussed as well as some of the good practices amongst the other partner regions.
