About the project

Due to climate change, wetlands are among the ecosystems that will be most affected by changing hydrological regimes, namely by rising sea levels and decreasing surface and underground water tables. At the same time, they are important in protecting the coastline and also effective carbon sink areas.
In this context, we intend to develop innovative methods and technologies for measuring and parameterizing water levels, namely through the use of video cameras, ultrasound / magnetic sensors, that we aim to be tools that help protect wetlands and prevent flooding.
