The Policy Learning Platform invites you to Sofia

Are you eager to meet peers and stakeholders working on entrepreneurship and business creation? Are you curious about what the Platform has in store for you? Are you ready to share and learn from other policymakers? If so, then this event is for you.

Join us for a policy learning event on entrepreneurship and business creation and you will discover:

  • What are the latest trends and developments from the European perspective. How can regions and European initiatives team up for entrepreneurial support?
  • What are European regions doing to boost entrepreneurship and business creation?  How can interregional learning help policy makers to run their business support policies more efficiently?

You will also engage with peers and learn from each other!

We will end the day with an on-site visit to Puzl coworking space and see how an old factory can be transformed into a modern business hub.

Join us in Sofia and take the opportunity to visit the Startup Europe Summit as well!

Our thematic workshop will be held back-to-back with the Startup Europe Summit from the European Commission that takes place on 15 November 2018. The Startup Europe Summit will especially focus on the development of start-up ecosystems in Central and Eastern Europe countries, as well as their connection to more developed ecosystems.

Who should participate?

This event is for:

  • Interreg Europe project partners
  • Representatives of the managing authorities of the Structural Funds programmes
  • Other policy actors working to improve regional policies in the field of entrepreneurship and business creation
