Registration for the European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is open. You can register here between 8 July and 27 September.
#EURegionsWeek is an annual four-day event dedicated to the European regions and cities and regional policy. In fact, it is the biggest event on EU Regional Policy - the programme covers more than 300 sessions. This is year, the main theme is: 'regions and cities: pillars of the EU's future'.
When and where?
The 17th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities takes place on 7-10 October 2019 in Brussels. The main venue is SQUARE Convention Centre (located right next to the central train station in the city centre). In addition, the European Committee of the Regions will host a set of sessions in their premises. Various event partners will also organise sessions in the regional representations and other venues around the city. Check the programme for details.
More than 6000 participants are expected participate in the #EURegionsWeek. They will represent local, regional, national and European decision-makers and experts from industry, academia, as well as associations.
The programme offers plenty of opportunities to meet and discuss with peer and experts from all across Europe and beyond in workshops, participatory labs, talks, and Q&A sessions. Moreover, an exhibition with concrete and inspiration case examples and additional opportunities to build new contacts is open during the entire event. The event is thus an excellent networking platform for experts in regional and local development.
