DemoCenter for E-commerce in agrifood products between China and the CEE countries to promote young entrepreneurs from these countries to use the Platform.
Young people from China and Central and Eastern European countries can use the demo-centre develop e-commerce skills using the Platform for consolidation of agricultural producers from China and the CEE countries www.16plus1cloud.org, established in 2018 by Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and CEE Countries, part of the structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, as well as the newly established “16plus1/S2S Where Students Change The World” platform withing the govrnmental Initiative 17+1. The platform is used as a digital warehouse of agri-food products and also as a service for E-commerce providing complete logistics, customs and foreign trade support. The aim is students from China and Central and Eastern European countries to cooperate to make real business deals with each other within the framework of the 17+1 Initiative. This became possible since January 1, 2019, when a Chinese government directive was put in place to alleviate the regime of imports of agricultural and other products through E-commerce. The Directive promotes the cross-border import of products for personal use. Each order of an individual could come up to approx. 625€, with an annual limit of up to approx. 3.250€.
Stakeholders: national Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry; Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and CEE Countries (part of the structure of above ministry); Agricultural University of Plovdiv.
