On 7 and 8 December 2021, the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform is organising an online peer review for the benefit of the Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, in France.
What will it be about?
This peer review will be moderated by Luc Schmerber and Mart Veliste, our SME competitiveness Thematic Experts.
The Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur has made growth and youth one of the priorities of its economic development policy. Student entrepreneurship is a major issue and benefits from a policy of support for business creation and development.
During this peer review, Région Sud hopes to benefit from the opinion of European experts and their recommendations. The French region would like to identify ways for optimising the programmes in the region, and to cooperate with other European partners. In addition, the peer review host believes this exchange will provide an opportunity to question current and future directions.
The main topics to be discussed will be:
- Awareness raising and training structures and programmes.
- Student entrepreneurship support programmes.
- Exploitation of research work through the creation of companies or technology transfers by doctoral students or young doctors.
On the last day, recommendations and potential proposals for policy actions will be developed, followed by a discussion between the host and the peers.
