The Policy Learning Platform is hosting an online matchmaking on 22 June from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST.
The session will be for the benefit of the Municipality of Burgas in Bulgaria, which wants to learn about waste management models and in particular a Pay-As-You-Throw system (PAYT) scheme.
What will it be about?
The session will be moderated by our Thematic experts of environment and resource efficiency, Astrid Severin and Marco Citelli. It will focus on how to design and deploy a new PAYT scheme to incentivise and support recycling and waste reduction in the Burgas municipality.
Peers from Belgium and Spain will share their expert experiences and provide recommendations to the Municipality of Burgas.
This activity is on invitation only. However, we will publish a follow-up article afterwards, with the key learnings of the session.
