On 19 January 2021 from 14:00 to 15:30 PM, the Policy Learning Platform is organising a webinar on the topic of increasing SME competitiveness through cross-sectoral inter-cluster cooperation

In the background paper prepared by the European Commission in 2019 for H2020 Cluster facilitated projects, it stated that innovation activities are often concentrated in individual companies and that certain regions offer the right competences, skills and favourable conditions. At the same time, innovation and excellence are rarely achieved in isolation. Competences are spread across different sectors, value chains and geographical borders. These characteristics call for collaboration between, and integration of, different innovation actors across different sectors and regions.

To further explore the possibilities of cross-sectoral inter-cluster cooperation, we are hosting a webinar on the topic and looking at practices and experiences that have been identified in this context.

What you can expect

We have invited experts in the field to share their practices and experiences:

  • Success story from Pays de Loire, France – Inter-cluster cooperation between 6 regional cluster (CLIPPER project).
