On 12 and 13 February 2020, the Policy Learning Platform is organising a Peer Review in Karlovac County. The 2 day event will be hosted in Croatia by JURRA, the Karlovac County Development Agency.
The development agency is aiming to enhance and boost the cooperation among the business infrastructure and the services in Karlovac County. Specifically, to meet the national and European general priorities that are foreseen in the regional development strategy. The main focus is to improve the competitiveness and to accelerate the business environment of the SMEs in the region and the creation of links between different sectors.
The following thematic objectives will be treated during the Peer Review together with SME competitiveness experts and European peers:
- Stimulation of creation of companies and start-ups, boosting the entrepreneurship at regional level.
- The creation of partnerships among ESI and other important stakeholders in the EU.
- Local, regional and international promotion of the institution, collaboration with others, participation in international and regional fairs.
- Specialized training to the trainers - technical assistance for the supporting institution but also regional actors.
