On 25 and 26 March, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET,  the Assembly of European Regions (AER) is organising two webinars on the challenges and opportunities for European regions, and rural areas in particular, when it comes to fostering innovation. 
During these two days, regional experiences and support initiatives at EU level will be shared with the participants.

Ambitious Skills and Innovation Strategies: A territorial Approach


The first event will take place on 25 March and will focus on the regional policies and practices for ambitious skills and innovation strategies through territorial approaches.
On that day, our Thematic Manager, Elena Ferrario and Katharina Krell, our Low-Carbon Economy Thematic Expert will give a joint presentation from 10:20 to 10:35. They will talk about peer reviews and knowledge exchanges to boost innovation. 

Innovation and farming: Applications of Advanced Manufacturing in the food value chain


The second and final event will take place on 26 March. It will focus on the use of data mobility, industry 4.0, and new technologies that unlock productivity and cost savings in the agri-food sector.
