Matchmaking session: Azores

On 21 March 2022, and as part of its Policy learning week, the Policy Learning Platform will host an online matchmaking session for the Azores Region, in Portgual. It will focus on project bundling to bring down costs and create a critical mass to attract third party investment.

What will it be about?

Our low-carbon thematic experts, Katharina Krell and Simon Hunkin will moderate the online event. They have invited peers from across Europe to share their experiences and recommendations to the host region on:

• Methodologies for renewable energy project bundling and third party investment in the Portuguese context
• Bundling of PV rooftop projects on public schools & hospitals in Extremadura 

This matchmaking session is on invitation only. However, we will publish a follow-up article afterwards, including the key learnings.
