Launching event of REInA (Rural European Innovation Area)

On 6 and 7 April, from 10:00 to 20:00 CET, REInA (Rural European Innovation Area) is hosting its online launch-event.

REInA is a pan-European platform that aims to bring together innovative initiatives to support the creation of a Rural European Innovation Area.
The two-day launch will be divided into multiple round tables with experts from the field participating.
The opening, which will take place from 10:00 to 10:35 CET, will include keynote speakers such as Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture and MEP Cristian-Silviu Buşoi, Chair of Industry, Research and Energy Committee, European Parliament.
It is also worth mentioning that our Research and Innovation Thematic Expert, Mart Pattinson, on behalf of the Policy Learning Platform, will speak and participate in the round table 3, on disruptive technologies for rural innovation: drones, innovative connectivity solutions.
