Participants will visit examples of practices regarding regional policies supporting non-formal, soft and open innovation dynamics. As part of a learning process, partners will interact with regional authority representatives and beneficiary groups, exchanging experiences with public policy-makers and other actors of the innovation generation processes. The visit will be divided in two parts, each one will end with a mutual learning discussion where all participants will be invited to openly share their observations about the practices explored. All partners will contribute to an interactive identification of key problems for effect measurement for the specific territorial context, providing suggestions to solve them.

"Pearls of memory"

Associazione "Il Tre Ruote Ebbro" will guide participants to a visit of a cultural innovation project of research, participative construction and restitution of historical memory in Valle d’Itria territory, funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department of Youth and National Civil Service, within the call “Youths for Social”, cured by Associazione "Il Tre Ruote Ebbro".

Session on "Youth Policies and Education" 

Location: "G.Lan Laboratori Urbani" – Locorotondo

G.Lan project managers will introduce the host organization and share their experience in the involvement of young people from the local community in social innovation activities. Representatives of the "Youth Policy and Social Innovation" and the "Education and University" Regional Departments will present three regional experiences of policies targeted to young apulian innovators to support education, entrepreneurship and public spaces qualification. The "Ultimi Fuochi Teatro" founders will tell their story of young professionals directly involved in managing territorial innovative actions with the support of regional policies.

Representatives of the “Innovation and Research” Department will illustrate the regional intervention “Innolabs”. InresLab representatives will describe their experience putting in evidence the main areas of impact of their action and the innovative elements of their activity.
