The OptiTrans project came to an end with a big online event. The partner regions presented newly implemented solutions for public transport, to which the 5-year project activities had contributed significantly. The focus was on the electrification of public transport through new buses (electric, hybrid, trolleybuses) and streetcars as well as offers for the "last mile" in the form of bike sharing systems or improved bicycle infrastructure. The Interreg Europe program as funding body provided the appropriate formats for knowledge and experience exchange between the regions.
