Kick-off Meeting in Patras: Held on April 9-10, 2025, at the University of Patras, this inaugural in-person meeting brought together consortium members to discuss project progress, financial updates, and strategies for enhancing interregional cooperation.
Exchange of Experience Activities: The project completed its first thematic study, analyzing the root causes of regional vulnerabilities to current and projected climate hazards. Findings highlighted common challenges such as extreme temperatures, heavy rainfall, and water stress, emphasizing the need for shared knowledge and aligned strategies
Study Visit to Kalamaki Beach: In collaboration with the Region of Western Greece, the consortium visited a pilot intervention site addressing coastal erosion. The visit, supported by the ADAPTIN_GR project, showcased innovative techniques for coastal stabilization and ecosystem protection.
Workshop on Emergency Response Protocols: A technical workshop at the University of Patras featured presentations on advanced meteorological models for forecasting extreme weather events and best practices in animal management during environmental crises, shared by the NGO Dog’s Voice.
