Third Circular Minds partner meeting held in Helsinki

The third Circular Minds Interregional Partner Meeting took place from 3–5 June in Helsinki, Finland.

Throughout the three-day programme, participants took part in a series of workshops and attended key presentations by Karin van Ijsselmuide (Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences), Jarno Tuominen (University of Turku), Suvi Sippola (Motiva), and Salla Koivusalo (Ministry of the Environment of Finland).

The event focused particularly on best practices in circular procurement and strategies for scaling them. Examples discussed included building demolition projects, soil management, transport services, furniture procurement, and ICT equipment. These cases were presented by representatives from HSY (Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority), cities in the Helsinki metropolitan area, and project partners.
