Interreg pilot actions approved
In June, the Interreg Europe monitoring committee approved 42 pilot actions. 26 first call projects will implement pilot actions in five of the six topics supported by the programme. 54 project partners will be testing new approaches in many different European regions.
54 project partners from 15 countries will implement the pilot actions in their regions. They will test new approaches inspired by good practices shared by other project partners and by the lessons learned from the projects.
Focus on improving policy instruments
The project partners will implement their pilot actions within one year. They will find out whether the lessons learned from the pilot actions can shape and improve their policy instruments.
There are 47 policy instruments addressed by the pilot actions; eight of them are Investment for jobs and growth goal programmes.
