Interreg Europe was present at the 4th COTER commission meeting in Brest, France, on 26 June 2025.

The Commission For Territorial Cohesion Policy and EU Budget (COTER) of the Committee of the Regions (CoR) met to discussed the post-2027 EU budget briefly before the publication of the Multiannual Financial Framework by the Commission. The CoR members reiterated their demand to shape a future EU budget together, with local and regional authorities being treated as strategic and trustworthy partners in delivering the EU priorities.

Nicolas Singer, Head of Unit - Projects and Platform at Interreg Europe, was invited to the meeting to contribute to the discussion. He took the floor during the commission's meeting on 26 June during the session on European territorial Cooperation - achievements and outlook, and answered several questions of the chair. He presented the key features of the programme and highlighted the added value of the programme to increasing the cohesion in Europe.
