Increasing number of recycled materials and training needs

Guldborgsund Municipality held a very successful network meeting at the City Hall on November 7, with very interesting presentations from Upcycling Forum, Roskilde Municipality, the Confederation of Danish Industry and from the educational institution Zealand Business Academy.

Following the presentations, an exchange took place on how to increase the number of recycled materials for future construction projects and the need for further training and new training programmes (especially the content and requirement for a future training such as selective demolition, traceability of waste, demolition of structures with PCB and asbestos).

Participants also discussed the Danish standard for recycled construction materials newly introduced and the upcoming EU framework on recycling.
