The entire Interreg community celebrates the 30th anniversary of Interreg this year. One of the highlights of the year is a special edition of the Interreg 30 years Project Slam. The journey towards the grand finale during the European Week of Regions and Cities (10-15 October, Brussels) continues.
The Project Slam preparations kicked off in April with a call for stories from projects. We also encouraged Interreg Europe projects to share theirs (thank you for all the stories, we enjoyed reading them!).
First selection results
More than 150 projects from different Interreg programmes all across Europe took up the challenge and submitted their stories. Out of these, a jury of Interreg specialists and communication experts have now selected 30 for the next phase. A list of all 30 is available here.
LCA4Regions represents Interreg Europe among these 30. Together with the other shortlisted projects, they will now get creative and turn their stories into short videos.
Next steps
Each project will produce a 2-minute video based on their story. Once the videos are done, the group of 30 will become six. The remaining finalists will be the stars of the Interreg Project Slam in October, where they will bring their stories into life on stage. You will also have a chance to vote for your favourite, either by voting for your favourite video on social media, or by participating in the session and voting for the winner.
Stay tuned - stories are coming!
