We are fully aware of the difficulties projects face due to the Covid-19 preventive measures put in place. Most of you had to adapt by changing your work plans and rescheduling activities. That will have consequences on your project implementation and reporting. For this reason we put in place several measures to help you.
Measures to help our projects
Because none of you are in the same scenario, we analysed each situation individually and contacted you directly to provide help. For example, we informed many of you that, during this unusual period, we will be flexible with the submission deadlines of progress reports.
We invite each project from all calls to contact their officers at the joint secretariat for further advice.
In addition, the Interreg Europe Monitoring Committee approved in June 2020 a series of measures to increase flexibility and allow additional activities.
First level controllers working remotely
We also know that many of our first level controllers managed to switch to working remotely and adapt their procedures. For example, both the Portuguese and Polish teams have switched to receiving electronic versions of documents through online platforms. We will continue to update this page as we receive more information.

Costs for online tools
We also hosted a webinar and gave tips on how to continue your project activities online. Tools and services to hold online meetings may be eligible within your available budget and relevant budget lines. Some of you have also shared your own experiences about how you've moved your activities online.
We invite you to check this with your lead partner, your joint secretariat officers and most importantly with your first level controller.
Other eligible costs
We've received many questions from you about different types of eligible costs (staff, administration, travel, etc.). So we've put toghether a list of answers to your frequently asked questions.
