On 22-23 March the next interregional cooperation forum 'Europe, let's cooperate!' will bring 500 participants to beautiful and historical Malta. Join us making the stay as environmentally sustainable as possible and contribute to preserving the island's cultural and natural heritage. Have a look at some actions and tips we have for you.

Help us reduce food waste

If you are registered to the event but at the end are unable to join us, please tell us as soon as possible, so that we can adapt the orders to the actual number of participants. This can limit food waste and production of unnecessary badges and thus reduce the environmental impact of this event.

Let's save some trees together

We are doing our best to cut the amount of paper consumed at our events.

If you have a project publication to share, contribute to our online library and and share your interesting publication or video with the participants.

We can limit the carbon footprint too

If you stay outside Valletta, you can skip taking taxi and get on a bus with other participants. Based on participants' needs, we will arrange buses between St Julians' and Sliema and the venue. Check your inbox and book your seat by 13 March.

Discuss green issues by a 'campfire'

Have a look at the four informal talks about Interreg Europe topics and the project development, hosted by other participants. Come to the 'campfire' tent and join any of the discussions on waste management and low carbon emission buildings, on monitoring air quality, on sustainable food chains or on the role of a managing authority in projects tackling green topics.

Not coming to Malta?

We still have some places left, but make sure to register before mid-day on Friday 10 March.

If you are not able to travel to Malta, join us at our online event that takes place a week after the cooperation forum. The online event, on 31 March, is an opportunity to learn more about project development, get inspired and network online.
