The 15th edition of the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) takes place from 23 to 25 June 2020 in Brussels.
EUSEW - the biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe - brings together EU officials, policy makers, and energy stakeholders from all across Europe to discuss and debate on sustainable energy issues, debate new policy developments, best practices and sustainable energy ideas.
Propose a session for the programme
You have a chance to be part of the programme: the call for sessions during the EUSEW 2020 Policy Conference is open until 20 January 2020.
The Policy Conference sessions should be interactive and fit in a 90-minute slot. The content should focus on sustainable energy issues, new policy developments, best practices and new ideas. The topic(s) addressed in the session should be in line with the EU sustainable energy policy agenda and the activities needed to deliver the 2030 and 2050 targets.
Proposals will be assessed based on:
- Concept and focus
- Relevance of the topic (content)
- Quality of the agenda
Who can apply?
The proposals should be submitted jointly by at least two organisations - time to partner up!
Eligible organisations include:
- representatives of EU institutions, including inter-institutional bodies;
- energy stakeholders (with network of contacts across Europe)
- actors contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable energy policy in Europe
This can include international organisations, university associations, networks of national, regional/local authorities, agencies, or other public bodies, as well as industry or professional associations, NGOs working in the field of sustainable development, or consumer associations/citizens' groups.
All sessions should be free of commercial interest. Businesses aiming to promote specific products or services are not eligible.
Applicants will be informed of the results at the end of February 2020.

In addition to the call for session proposals, the EUSEW Awards nominations are open from 26 November until 27 January 2020.
More information about the other activities will be announced in January. Event registration will open in April 2020.
