The first round of speakers at this year’s Europe, let’s cooperate forum includes representatives from the BID-REX and PERFECT projects.

Come and meet our speakers. Listen to their stories. Find out about the challenges they faced and discover how they resolved key issues.

BID-REX: on natural heritage data and the decision-making process

Interested in natural heritage conservation? Don’t miss BID-REX’s presentation by Nuria Pou Àlvarez from the Forest Sciences Centre of Catalonia, Spain.

BID-REX is working to make sure that decision-makers have access to consistent, relevant and structured biodiversity information. They want to increase the impact that the allocation of European Regional Development Funds has on the preservation of natural heritage.

PERFECT: on the benefits of green infrastructure

Next, hear from Diane Smith from the Town and Planning Association, United Kingdom. See how the protection, development and exploitation of natural heritage can deliver sustainable, smart and inclusive growth.

PERFECT is working to integrate the many benefits of green infrastructure into the planning of urban and rural areas. They want to influence the policy-making process by raising awareness of the social, environmental and economic potential of green infrastructure.
