The call for applications to become a partner of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2019 is now open. Apply by 29 March!
The European Week of Regions and Cities is co-organised by the European Commission (DG REGIO) and the European Committee of the Regions. It attracts more than 6000 participants, speakers and journalists each year to join over 100 different workshops, exhibitions, debates and networking sessions.
This year the main activities take place in Brussels (7-10 October). In addition, local events take place around Europe throughout the year. For more information, see the #EURegionsWeek website.
You can apply to organise one working session as part of a regional partnership to exchange your experiences, showcase your good practices, or to facilitate cooperation and networking with different regions and cities.
Why not host a workshop or a participatory lab, or give a presentation! You can also take part in other activities organised by different associated partners.
This year, partners are invited to propose working sessions linked to:
- The future of the EU and the roles of regions and cities
- A Europe closer to citizens
- A greener Europe
- A more socially integrated Europe
- A smarter Europe
- A more connected Europe
The top three themes will be given priority in the selection process.
How to apply
Submit your application for regional partnerships, networking sessions, or other events online. Find the application forms on the 'Become a partner' website.
Sessions will be selected based on the quality and relevance of the proposals.
Before applying, see the guide for event partners for full details.
