Summer is coming to an end and autumn is approaching. The temperature outside might be going down, but the air is full of energy and new ideas. A new school year is starting, and as we all know, learning never really stops. In other words, now is the perfect moment to learn something new or brush up your skills for the future.
Have you already joined our MOOC?
How well do you know the EU funding and support solutions available for regions and cities? It might seem like a complex topic, but we have a compact overview that outlines what you need to know.
Earlier this year, Interreg Europe teamed up with the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), the European Commission, Eurostat, the European Investment Bank and URBACT for a massive open online course (MOOC) on making the most of EU resources and EU funding for regions and cities. Almost 14 000 participants have already made use of the materials. We encourage you to join the club and check it out too!
All content is free and you can complete the course in your own pace. Once you have worked your way through the six course modules and completed a set of quizzes and assignments, you will be awarded with a certificate of completion. The MOOC is available until the end of the year.
No time for a full course?
If completing a course with six modules seems too daunting, we have some tips to find time to fit learning opportunities in between your other daily tasks.
10 minutes or less
Want to make good use of your coffee break? Our suggestions:
- Have a look at our Interreg Europe in 6 minutes video. Learn about the basics of our programme, and you'll still be left with time to catch up with your colleagues before your coffee even gets cold.
- Hungry for more? Check out some of our project videos (1-6 minutes each). We have collected a sampler in one playlist, pick a treat and press play.
Up for some lunchtime learning? Tune in to follow our briefing 'Discover good practices for regions and cities' via webstreaming from the Committee of the Regions on 13 September. In an hour and a half (13:00-14:30, Brussels time), we will take you through the services of our Policy Learning Platform and show you how to use our good practice database. Two specific good practices will also be presented.
If 13 September is not a good date for you, don't worry, a recording will be available. Watch the video later, whenever the moment is right for you.
1 day (or more)
If online learning is not your thing after all - or if it leaves you with any questions or ideas for further discussion, come and meet us in person.
