RegioStars Awards call for applications for 2018 is open! It is once again time to identify good practices in regional development and give recognition to original, innovative and inspiring projects. Are you proud of your project? Do you think it deserves to be shortlisted? Let us know!
There are five Award categories this year, out of which three in particular are relevant for our programme:
- Supporting smart industrial transition
- Achieving sustainability through low carbon emissions
- Topic of the year 2018: Investing in cultural heritage
- Creating better access to public services
- Tackling migration challenges
To be eligible, the project needs to be fully implemented or sufficiently advanced in a way that it can demonstrate progress in the achievement of the original objectives (i.e. projects in their first year are unlikely to meet the criteria). Projects already proposed for RegioStars cannot be nominated again.
Submit your project for pre-selection
Up to 2 projects can be nominated in each category per programme. We encourage projects working on the above mentioned topics to express their interest to participate.
In order to be considered for selection of the Regiostars 2018 awards, please express your interest by filling an online form as soon as possible and by 15 March 2018 at the latest.
The Interreg Europe / INTERREG IVC programme’s managing authority will make the final decision on which projects to submit for the RegioStars 2018 awards.
Selected projects will be notified by 26 March to finalise their application. The final submission will be done by the project manager, with the endorsement of the managing authority. The online application platform is open until 15 April 2018.
The official RegioStars award ceremony will take place during the European Week of Regions and Cities in October 2018.
