137 workshops, 6000 participants, 830 speakers and four days full of action - that was the
European Week of Regions and Cities 2017. Highlights of the buzz in Brussels 9-12 October 2017 have been collected on a dedicated eReporting website, which is now online.
Interreg Europe was part of the action through several initiatives. The programme and our Policy Learning Platform organised and participated in events, and many of our projects were present as well.
Exploring good practices with the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform
On 10 October, the Policy Learning Platform explored
good practices in an interactive workshop and introduced the newly launched good practice database. The event report summarises the vivid discussion. The platform experts also hosted a showcase corner during the entire week and shared information about the platform services. Interreg Europe: transforming learning into actions
In the morning of 11 October, Interreg Europe invited representatives from the European Commission and our projects to discuss '
transforming learning into actions'. Have a look at the event report for an overview of the discussion. Addressing urban and regional challenges through public procurement
In the afternoon on 11 October, Interreg Europe teamed up with ESPON, INTERACT and URBACT to share examples on
addressing urban and regional challenges through public procurement. The main take aways are summarised in the event report. Storytelling studio and stories from the regions
Furthermore, our storytelling studio recorded collected good practice stories and interviewed regional actors and policy makers willing to share their best tips with others. After #EURegionsWeek, we ran a webinar with key highlights and made all the interviews available online, have a look and be inspired!
