The Joint Research Centre (JRC), the European Commission’s science and knowledge service, has just published a Science for Policy report on An intervention-logic approach for the design and implementation of S3 strategies: from place-based assets to expected impacts.
This report brings a fresh view of the necessary evaluation and monitoring that form a core part of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process. The reader will discover the operational stages proposed that contribute to a better policy design of Smart Specialisation Strategies.
"This work has been inspired by 3 Interreg projects: Know Hub, ESSPO and Beyond EDP," says Christian Saublens, one of the authors of the report.
We are proud that our interregional cooperation projects contribute to developing better smart specialisation strategies all over Europe.
