About HoCare

HoCare is focused on the delivery of innovative solutions for home care by strengthening quadruple-helix cooperation in regional innovation chains.

The HoCare project partners seek to unlock potential to delivery innovation in the field of home care, thereby addressing the challenges arising from the aging of the population. Innovative solutions are developed by strengthening the cooperation of actors in the regional innovation systems through a quadruple-helix approach. In this type of innovation cooperation model users, businesses, research actors/universities and public authorities cooperate and work together in order to produce innovations, co-create the future and drive structural changes. Ideas are cross-fertilised and prototyped in a real-world setting.

The project partners carry out regional analysis and share experiences in international thematic workshops. Transferable good practices will be identified and collected into policy thematic and transfer reports. Further policy learning and knowledge sharing will occur in national and international policy learning events organised by the project.
