CIVITAS SUITS organises a webinar about 'data management and exploitation for sustainable urban mobility' on 5 May at 14:00 (CEST).
The webinar presents tools and methodologies for urban mobility data collection, modelling, management and exploitation. The session focuses on crowd-sourcing as a sustainable and low-cost method to acquire mobility data. A data modeling approach to minimise traffic delays will be presented. Approaches to handling big data will also be discussed.
The webinar is targeted at local authorities (mainly transport and mobility departments), as well as researchers and other stakeholders, whose work focuses on urban mobility planning, optimisation and policy-making.
