The Smart Cities Information System (SCIS) invites creative thinkers and decision-makers in urban planning, sustainable energy, mobility, ICT, smart business models and user-centric innovation to meet in Budapest on 2-3 October 2017 and discuss the transformation of cities.
The conference aims to encourage the replication of solutions, good practices and lessons learned among cities and businesses to drive forward a smart and sustainable vision of Europe. Smart cities projects will showcase innovative solutions in interactive sessions and participants can present their own city challenge and take advantage of collective intelligence to discuss potential solutions.
The event is organised by Smart Cities Information System (SCIS), an initiative launched by the European Commission, which brings together project developers, cities, institutions, industry and experts from across Europe to exchange data, experience and know-how and to collaborate on the creation of smart cities and an energy-efficient urban environment.
